Submission and Editorial Workflow
A clear path from initial email to editorial screening, three-reviewer assessment, author proofing and production.
Email submission
Author sends the correct template and declarations.
Editorial assessment · 1–3 days
Scope, originality, completeness and ORCA-supported similarity assessment.
OJS account and tracking
Eligible manuscript is entered into OJS; account details are sent to the author.
Three-reviewer assessment · 2–4 weeks
Double-blind review of substance, methodology, reporting and ethics.
Editorial decision
Accept, minor revision, major revision or decline.
Revision · normally 1–2 weeks
Author responds point by point; editor and reviewers reassess the revision.
Acceptance and copyediting · about 1 week
Letter of acceptance, copyediting and EIGO-supported human proofreading; author approval.
Galley proof and production
Author performs the final proof check; approved article enters production.
Submission route
Send the completed manuscript and required declarations to editor.enigma.education@gmail.com. Direct author submission through OJS is not used at the initial stage. The editorial office performs confidential screening and, for manuscripts that pass, creates the author’s OJS account, enters the manuscript and sends account information so progress can be monitored.
