Digital Preservation and Archiving
Enigma in Education is committed to keeping its scholarly record accessible, identifiable and recoverable if the journal or publisher website changes or ceases operation.
Current public safeguards
- Each article has a stable OJS landing page and downloadable full text.
- Articles use Crossref DOIs and publicly discoverable bibliographic metadata.
- Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript and Version of Record in institutional or subject repositories without embargo, with citation and licence information.
- Corrections, retractions and expressions of concern remain linked to the article record rather than silently replacing the scholarly record.
Preservation implementation plan
Upgrade OJS from the legacy installation to a supported release using a tested backup, staging and rollback procedure.
After the upgrade, assess and activate PKP Preservation Network or another agency recorded by Keepers Registry, subject to technical eligibility and service acceptance.
Confirm successful deposits, periodically test DOI and full-text resolution, and publish the verified service name and evidence on this page.
Repository and author archiving rights
Authors retain copyright and may archive all versions of their work without embargo. Repository records should identify the version, include the DOI of the Version of Record when available, and retain the applicable CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence.
Preservation enquiries: editor.enigma.education@gmail.com. The journal will not list a preservation service in a DOAJ application until active coverage can be verified.
