Plagiarism and Originality Policy
Originality is assessed contextually, transparently and under editorial responsibility.
Originality requirement
Submissions must be original, properly attributed and not under consideration elsewhere. Text recycling, plagiarism, fabricated citations, image manipulation and undisclosed duplicate publication are not acceptable.
Similarity assessment
Editorial screening may be supported by ORCA. A similarity score is not an automatic verdict: editors examine the location, context and nature of overlap. Legitimate quotations, methods and references are distinguished from unattributed copying.
Response
Concerns identified before publication may lead to clarification, revision or rejection. Concerns after publication are investigated under the journal’s publication-ethics, correction and retraction procedures.
