About Journal

Enigma in Education is an international, peer-reviewed and fully open-access education journal published by Enigma Institute. It publishes two issues per year (May and November) and accepts original research articles, case reports or case studies, and systematic reviews or meta-analyses in English.

Initial submissions are received at editor.enigma.education@gmail.com. Manuscripts passing editorial screening are entered into OJS for transparent tracking and double-blind assessment by at least three independent reviewers.

Authors retain copyright. Articles are made immediately available under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence. See the Journal Policies for complete editorial and publication terms.

Fees are stated transparently and are separated from editorial decision-making.

No submission fee

There is no charge to submit a manuscript or to undergo editorial screening and peer review.

Article Processing Charge after acceptance

Only accepted manuscripts are subject to an Article Processing Charge: IDR 1,000,000 for authors based in Indonesia or USD 125 for authors based outside Indonesia. Payment is not requested before a final acceptance decision and does not influence peer review or editorial decisions.

What the charge supports

The charge contributes to editorial administration, copyediting, production, online hosting, metadata management and long-term availability. Any applicable payment instructions are issued only through the official editorial office.
