About Journal

Enigma in Education is an international, peer-reviewed and fully open-access education journal published by Enigma Institute. It publishes two issues per year (May and November) and accepts original research articles, case reports or case studies, and systematic reviews or meta-analyses in English.

Initial submissions are received at editor.enigma.education@gmail.com. Manuscripts passing editorial screening are entered into OJS for transparent tracking and double-blind assessment by at least three independent reviewers.

Authors retain copyright. Articles are made immediately available under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence. See the Journal Policies for complete editorial and publication terms.

Aims and Scope

The journal welcomes education research with clear relevance, transparent methods and a defensible contribution.

Scope

Enigma in Education publishes rigorous scholarship on teaching, learning, curriculum, educational assessment, teacher development, educational technology, inclusion, literacy, educational leadership and policy, higher education, vocational education, and interdisciplinary educational research.

Article types

Original research articles using quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, observational, design-based, or implementation approaches.
Case reports or case studies presenting a bounded educational case with a clear learning contribution.
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses following current reporting and reproducibility standards.

Submissions must provide a clear educational contribution, transparent methods, appropriate ethical safeguards, and conclusions supported by the evidence. The journal publishes in English and issues two numbers each year, in May and November.
